I've recently been researching some architects online and I just had to share this incredible company with you. The name is Mclean Quinlan and I'm in love with every single one of their designs. The property above is based in Stow-on-the Wold's and it blew me away. Not to mention the gorgeous home based in Padtow, which can amazingly be booked as a holiday home through Beach Retreats. So if you can't afford the real thing, at least you can pretend. Enjoy!xxx

Annabel's House
After a hectic and slightly emotional few days, I'm in need of some calm. I can't tell you much I want to retreat to this home and cuddle up in a corner somewhere. I just love the effect of the white panelling with the small snippets of colour. An absolute haven from the hectic world outside. xxx

Niki Jones
One of my new favourite online stores is Niki Jones. A wonderful textiles, furniture and home accessories store. The bed linen is so beautiful and I adore the bone inlay furniture. Can I have it all please? xxx

Chipping 1 & 2
After working my little socks off (or rather large socks I'm afraid, a size 8!) I've decided that a mini break is in order. Having visited the Cotswold's many times in the autumn and winter, I would love to go back and witness just what it's like in high summer. Rather than choosing a cosy hotel with open fires and checked throws, I feel these Chipping Apartments by Lena Proudlock would be perfect. I love the mix of bright white walls with antique furniture and oil paintings. Very cool. xxx

mydeco Design Democracy Blog Award
So I've had a few days now to think about what 'Design Democracy' means to me. Overall, I feel it's the freedom to freely communicate your personality through design. With so much inspiration out there, whether its books, magazines, TV or online it's hard sometimes to commit to a style. One day I like contemporary, the next day I like vintage. But does it really matter? We now have the freedom to stick it all together and say 'this is me'.
I nervously started my blog 3 months ago and I didn't tell a soul. I was worried that people would judge me, but how wrong I was. I have now learnt that in the 'blogging' world you can freely express who you are, your ideas and your style without judgement or negativity. I find that amazing. It's so uplifting.
So thank you to mydeco for my nomination in the Design Democracy Blog Award. I feel so flattered to be here.
If people enjoy reading my posts then I would really appreciate your vote. You just need to click here. Good luck to everyone else. xxx
