Sometimes, when I'm in need of some interior inspiration I go straight to 1st Option Locations as their properties are to absolutely die for. But when I last looked, I was just over the moon the find this beautiful house which I read about in Living etc earlier this year. At that time, I tore these pictures out for my scrap book (and stuffed them under my husbands nose to say 'this is the kitchen I want') but I'm absolutely thrilled to see that 1st Option provide so many wonderful images showing this kitchen from all angles. Its so beautifully finished and I love the deep green/ blue cabinets against the white panelling too. Amazing! Its naughty to steal someones look but hey - who's gonna know? ;-) Enjoy!

Tine Kjeldsen
source: www.desiretoinspire.net
Happy New Year everyone! Sorry for my very slow start to 2013. Things have been (as ever) rather busy but today I thought I'd share my love and affection for Tine Kjeldsen. In my heart, I would love to own an interiors store, and there's a possibility that this isn't far off! But in the meantime I'm collecting my favourite designers so that I'm fully prepared for that day. Tine K would be the first designer I'd love to have on my shelves. I love everything about the brand and her actual home makes me love her even more. How beautiful! You can buy Tine K online as well at http://www.tinekhome.com/

An Australian Christmas
Hi everyone, I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas. I'm sorry for the lack of posts lately, but I'm currently visiting my brother and his family out in Western Australia! We've had a wonderful Christmas, and the weather has been incredible. One of the things I most enjoy about coming here (apart from the amazing food and gorgeous beaches) is the inspiration I get from all the amazing stores that I've visited. They're so gorgeously decorated and I feel that I've picked up some great ideas which I'll most definitely be bringing home with me. What has been strange though, is celebrating Christmas day in such hot weather! The whole experience here is so different - and the way in which things have been decorated are so different from the way we decorate back home in the UK. I love the simplicity here and when I came across the recent magazine fetepress - the whole style just filled me with Christmas joy. Next year - no matter where I am, hot or cold - this will be style that I'll be taking home with me and wanting to replicate around my home. Enjoy this beautiful publication and I'll be in touch again in 2012! xxx
